Welcome to Sequel Melody!

Welcome! My name is Amber Rogers, and I am a board-certified music therapist with more than a decade of clinical experience.

Through Sequel Melody LLC, I virtually coach and provide supervision to aspiring music therapists around the country who are preparing to take the CBMT board exam, and I also provide evidence-based music therapy services to clients of all ages.

From humming hymnals in Haiti to presently teaching test prep in Texas, the arc of my life has been an amazing journey that has cultivated my professional passions.

After growing up in New Jersey, I attended Oklahoma Baptist University where I was introduced to the amazing field of music therapy and earned a Bachelor of Art in Church Music. I went on to serve as a behavior therapist with organizations such as the Autism Treatment Center and Child Study Center in San Antonio and Fort Worth, Texas respectively. I continued my training and clinical internship at Texas Woman’s University, earning my Master of Arts in Music Therapy.

Currently, my family and I reside in the Dallas/Fort Worth area where I have the daily privilege of supporting the needs of my clients.
